Founded on 4 February 2019, the African Air and Space Law Association brings together lawyers, academics, practitioners and students around a single purpose: to advance air law and space law in Africa.

Founded on 4 February 2019 in Paris, registered under RNA W751250958 (Official Journal of 31 October 2020, notice no. 1272).

2024Transfer to Cameroon
Transfer of headquarters to Efok, Cameroon (Receipt No. 121/RDA/JO3/SAAJP).

AADAS operates under a constitution adopted by its General Assembly, with an Executive Board, four Standing Committees and an independent Ethics Council.
Organisation & Working Groups
Rather than fixed regional branches, AADAS operates through agile, project-based working groups and thematic commissions. Our members contribute remotely across multiple jurisdictions on key legal initiatives.
